For this week’s assignment, you will create an infographic. The infographic should be designed to educate fellow healthcare providers on preventing and reducing Healthcare-Associated Infections. Make sure to address the following on your infographic:

  • Choose one specific infection to address (Examples include: MRSA bloodstream infections or the spread of C difficile),
  • Address how the specific disease is spread
  • Address the specific role of the healthcare provider in reducing the spread,
  • Address why it is important to stop the spread
  • Address what might happen if the disease spread community-wide
  • Your infographic should be scholarly and supported with research; include visuals to support your content
  • Review the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) content on, include content from the CDC to support your infographic.
  • Infographics can be created on multiple platforms. They can also be created in Word.

  4. Create your assignment submission and be sure to cite your sources use APA style as required and check your spelling.
  5. Make sure to include a font that is easy to read and graphics that support your ideas. This will be one page long. Please refer to Canva or YouTube for examples to follow.
  • References: Use the appropriate APA style in-text citations and references for all resources utilized to answer the questions. Whereas, include at least three (3) scholarly sources to support your claims.
  • Hence, format: Save your assignment as a Microsoft Word document, pdf document, or PowerPoint Document (.doc or .docx).
  • Lastly, filename: Name your saved file according to your first initial, last name, and the assignment number (for example, “Rhall Assignment 1.docx”)
