Globalization imperative
It argues that time equals money and market share and that the localization solution selected will significantly impact both. Additionally, the faster a global organization takes to process requests and deliver orders, the sooner it achieves a return on investment. The global imperative believes that when a company sells more products, the sooner it can establish its brand and gain a valuable market share. I agree with the global imperative that there is one worldwide business approach because it optimizes operational efficiency and lowers production costs.
Global imperative embraces the use of cloud-based technology, and this increases the efficiency of global companies. Cloud computing yields continuous and long-term savings. This is unlike the single project where a company gets a one-way saving. Global companies that have not invested in could technology only offer on-premise solutions. This involves downloading files, emailing, and translating the transactions. Cloud-based technology is useful because it continuously detects changes and distributes the translated content to the right recipient through automated processes. This is associated with a greater level of agility and efficiency.
Global imperative lowers the cost of production, and through it, companies achieve economies of scale. Global companies can engage in the mass production of goods to ensure that the cost of labor or other inputs are significantly reduced. Similarly, global companies can seek to achieve economies of scope by expanding their businesses into new geographical locations. Economies of scale and economies of scope enhance business growth and maximize shareholders’ value. Also, global companies are more likely to experience growth in markets where strong economic growth is projected. This is because the local consumers can easily afford goods and services that otherwise not affordable. APA
