APA 7th and graduate level writing is expected. No abstract is required but there should be a title page and reference page. The paper, excluding the title page and reference page, should be approximately 3-5 pages. The following rubric will be used to score this assignment.

Conflict is a natural part of any workplace, especially in organizations where people with different personalities work together in a team. The understanding that conflict is inevitable necessitates conflict management measures and techniques. Conflict management or conflict resolution is handling disputes arising between team members. It may also refer to limiting the negative impacts of conflict while maximizing its positive impact.

It is considered a critical skill to possess in the workplace since small disputes that are not resolved can grow to insurmountable heights and affect productivity. Whereas, some of the conflict resolution methods discussed in this paper include accommodating, avoiding, competing, collaborating, and compromising. Hence, conflict management aims to enhance group performance in an organizational setting.
