This system of delivery align with many nurses’ professional and ethical standards. The patient-centered care delivery system promotes strong therapeutic relationships, empowers patients in decision-making, encourages interdisciplinary teamwork, and is often supported by innovative technology and flexible workflows.

The least satisfying delivery system is Team Nursing, which distributes the care of a patient amongst a team that is all working together to provide for this person. Team nursing system is associated with risk of inconsistent care or communication breakdowns. Also, it leads to limited continuity of care, which may reduce nurse-patient connection. Besides, the role confusion or inequity in workload distribution.
